LPN

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide Methadone dosing and related services in an outpatient treatment setting for Opioid Use Disorders and other addictive disorders. This role operates in a fast-paced medical environment where patients are treated with compassion and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient dispensing and administering of Methadone to opioid-dependent clients under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Clinical Manager.
• Documentation of medical and clinical records, observations, and Methadone inventory control.
• Close coordination with other treatment team members.

Requirements

• LPN or RN from an accredited university nursing school, licensed through the Colorado Board of Nursing.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Methadone Dispensing Nurse.
• Phlebotomy experience and/or certification.
• Strong interest in working in the substance abuse field.
• Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills, dependability, and organizational abilities.

Skills

• Administering Schedule II Narcotics (preferred).
• Phlebotomy.
• Medical and clinical documentation.

Pay

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
• Saturday: Rotating shifts from 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM.

Work Location

In-person at an outpatient clinic (Denver Champa clinic).
