About the role

Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring Full Time LPN's for the Night shift (7p-7a).

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient health and administer basic care.
• Implement nursing interventions in line with the care plan.
• Model customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding patient safety.
• Collaborate with others to meet physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs of patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and implement interventions to promote wellness.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
• Deliver medications safely according to policies and procedures.
• Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training available upon hire).

• Age-appropriate knowledge and skills for treating patients in various age groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and restraint protocols.

Pay Range: $27 - $34 per hour (depending on years of experience).
