Job Summary
Experience individualized care at an Extended Care affiliated facility. Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
- Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
- Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Compliance with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and able to handle stress.
- Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
