Job Summary

This position is eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate nursing care to residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.
• Affirms resident needs and delivers essential physical or psychosocial care.
• Assists in acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
• Performs assessment and analysis of patient problems and conditions using critical decision-making to determine need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions.
• Implements and/or modifies the plan of care using assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice, including nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary partnerships in patient care (as appropriate for an LPN).
• Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Evaluates progress towards attaining desired patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates effective ongoing observations and reassessment of patient/family and their response to interventions and changes in condition.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: KY, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
