About the role

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at Bibb Medical Center's Nursing Home. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Delivers quality nursing care to residents.
• Exhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents and their families.
• Makes rounds to monitor and report changes in the resident’s condition.
• Assigns duties, instructs, and provides clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in Alabama.
• Maintains an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
• CPR or BLS certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. Must remain current during employment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Licensure: Currently licensed/registered in Alabama.
• License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred), LPN (Required).

Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric nursing practices.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
