Position Summary

Responsible for leading the health and wellbeing of residents, coordinating with the Director of Health & Wellness, developing and implementing personal care staff schedules, filling call-offs, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Director of Health & Wellness and assists with their duties.
• Creates and posts a timely schedule for all personal care staff.
• Ensures proper staffing levels by filling call-offs.
• Fills vacancies when necessary.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to clinical care.
• Collaborates with other department coordinators to assess and manage resident and team member health needs.
• Communicates with residents' families and responsible parties regarding care changes or health concerns.
• Reviews and updates the Service Plan monthly.
• Addresses accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current state license as a Licensed Professional Nurse.
• Two (2) years' experience as a Licensed Nurse preferred.
• One (1) year nursing management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow-up, and triage.
