About the role

Garden Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center seeks compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join their care team. Full Time and Part Time schedules are available, with shifts ranging from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. This position offers a sign-on bonus and referral program, along with perks such as employee appreciation activities and easy access via public transportation.

Responsibilities & Duties

• In coordination with the healthcare team, assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and modifies each resident's care plan to meet with his/her physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs
• Manages emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner
• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records
• Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience in the long-term care OR rehab setting
• New grads allowed (must be willing to take up a full-time position)
• Embraces the person-centered care approach to meet each resident's needs and preferences
• Possesses a true passion for excellence in nursing care
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and perform effectively during peak periods of activity and emergency situations
• Effectively interacts with residents, their family members, and the healthcare team members

Qualifications

• LPN license for the state of Pennsylvania (required upon hire)

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
