Hospice Care

Provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Assists patients in managing symptoms and discomfort
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Supports emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs of patients and families
  • Maintains accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare field or related field
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN)
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills

  • Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles and practices
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and patient assessment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
