Hospice Care
Provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients in managing symptoms and discomfort
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Supports emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs of patients and families
- Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare field or related field
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN)
- Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Skills
- Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles and practices
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient assessment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
