About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in a hospital inpatient unit, working under RN supervision to provide direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and perform nursing interventions such as specimen collection and wound care.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Monitor patient status and reactions to treatments.
- Contribute to patient assessments and execute care plans.
- Document patient conditions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
- Valid state licensure as an LPN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start.
