About the role
The LPN will provide direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This position may also include responsibilities for new hire and annual health screenings in Employee Health.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as per the nursing care plan
- Report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN
- Assist in new hire and annual health screenings in Employee Health
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active LPN license
- BLS certification
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on department assignment
Qualifications
- Completed LPN program
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer software
- Strong team leadership and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
