About the role

The LPN will provide direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This position may also include responsibilities for new hire and annual health screenings within Employee Health.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as per the Nursing Care Plan
• Report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN
• Work within the Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures
• May have additional duties assigned within the scope of the role

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active LPN license required
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on department assignment

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer software
• Strong team leadership skills
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to supervise and train employees
