LPN - 1.1 Private Duty
About the role
Maxim Healthcare of Daytona Beach is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in a 1:1 capacity. Ventilator experienced preferred but not required as Maxim offers an in house training program. Variety of shifts available including: 8-12 hour shifts for days/nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
Pay
Hourly Pay: $28-$30 / per hour
