Lowboy Flatbed Driver

About the role

We are seeking a Lowboy/Flatbed Driver to join our team at Zenith Tech, part of the Walbec Group. As a Company Driver, you will drive a tractor and trailer (lowboy or flat) to job sites to locate and relocate heavy equipment and materials used in road construction.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor and trailer (lowboy or flat) to job sites to locate and relocate heavy equipment and materials.
• Ensure safety and efficiency in transporting large machinery and material loads.
• Work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Work in dirty and dusty environments and tolerate variable weather conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads.
• Valid Class A CDL with \N\ endorsement.
• Current Federal Medical card.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Experience with various types of heavy equipment (preferred).
• Some mechanical aptitude, training, or experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others.
• A working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules.
• Punctual and dependable.

Qualifications

• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to join one.
