Lowboy CDL Driver

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lowboy CDL Driver to join our operations in Lake Charles, LA. The ideal candidate will drive lowboy, dovetail, and/or rollback trailers to transport Caterpillar and allied rental equipment to and from job sites.

You will be responsible for completing and maintaining required forms and records, ensuring good work habits, and presenting a positive business image to customers.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• A Class A driver's license with a clear driving record
• At least 3 years of experience hauling with a lowboy, dovetail, or rollback trailer
• Strong customer service skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• A professional demeanor with a "safety-first" mentality

JOB FACTS

• Shift Schedule: 6:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday, every other weekend on call; may require working outside standard hours for customer emergencies.
• Travel: Frequent travel to customer sites (details discussed during interviews).
• Physical Requirements: Requires physical movement, lifting, rotation, and compliance with OSHA, HAZMAT, and MSHA safety regulations.
• No overnight travel required.
