Low Voltage Technician (Security/life Safety)
About the role
Install, program, test, troubleshoot, and service electronic security and life safety systems including fire alarms, burglar alarms, CCTV/video surveillance, and access control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, system commissioning, alarm programming, and customer support. This role is best suited for a mid-level or experienced technician capable of working independently and handling installations and service work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and test electronic security and life safety systems
- Troubleshoot and service fire alarms, burglar alarms, CCTV/video surveillance, and access control systems
- Perform low-voltage wiring and system commissioning
- Provide alarm programming and customer support
Requirements
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I certification or higher (preferred)
- Experience with any of the following platforms: DMP (Digital Monitoring Products), Resideo, PDK (Prodatakey), OpenEye
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring and electrical troubleshooting
- Intermediate to advanced experience level

Pay
$41,600.00 - $72,800.00 per year
