Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage infrastructure, including Fiber Optic cabling, Cat5e/6, and structured wiring systems.
- Program and service CCTV/Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intercom systems, ensuring seamless operation.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, cable certifiers) to resolve complex connectivity and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with clients to provide on-site technical training and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work safely in fast-paced construction environments, utilizing ladders and navigating confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces) as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in low-voltage infrastructure installation and maintenance.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with copper and fiber termination, locking hardware, and panel programming.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably at heights or in tight spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and client interaction.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical Background: Prior experience as an electrician or in general electrical systems.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with EIA, TIA, or BICSI standards.
- Professionalism: A clean driving record and a professional appearance.
