About the role
The Low Voltage Technician installs, programs, tests, troubleshoots, and services electronic security systems including fire alarms, burglar alarms, CCTV/video surveillance, and access control systems in various environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and test electronic security systems
- Service existing systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Provide customer support and resolve issues promptly
- Work independently and handle installations and service work with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring
- System commissioning skills
- Alarm programming experience
- Customer support experience
Qualifications
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I or II certification
- Experience with DMP, Resideo, PDK (Prodatakey), and OpenEye platforms
