Low Voltage Technician

About the role

Specialty Systems Technicians are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various systems such as voice and data, fiber optics, fire alarms, security, access control, CCTV, and nurse call systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints
• Evaluate upcoming tasks
• Lead small crews of 2-5 electricians
• Ensure safety compliance
• Provide excellent customer relations through problem-solving

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of Electronic Systems Technician Apprenticeship (if applicable)
• Ability to work independently
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards
• Leadership skills

Additional Duties

• Participate in safety initiatives
• Plan project layouts
• Perform related tasks as assigned

Schedule

Must be adaptable to varying work hours and travel 60-75%.
