Low Voltage Technician

About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Must possess a valid journeyman electrician’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair low voltage wiring systems
• Perform inspections and maintenance on existing electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician’s license
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
