About the role
The Low Voltage Technician plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer experiences by installing and supporting advanced low-voltage systems in customer homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
- Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
- Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
- Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics
- Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style
- Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Prior field technical training is preferred.

The pay range for this role is $22.00–$40.85 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
