Low Voltage Technician
About the role
The Field Operations team at ADT is responsible for bringing our smart security solutions to life. This includes installation, service, troubleshooting, and customer education.
Responsibilities
- Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
- Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections, including monitoring center communication
- Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
- Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location)
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics
- Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style
- Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment

Skills

Pay
The pay range for this role is $24.20–$44.94 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
