About the role
The Low Voltage Systems Specialist is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining low voltage systems in various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with wiring, lighting, and data cabling.
Responsibilities
- Design and install low voltage systems including lighting, security, and data cabling
- Perform inspections and tests to ensure compliance with local codes and standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in low voltage system installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and other relevant building codes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel as needed
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Experience with wireless networking and security systems
- Good understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed
