Low Voltage Systems Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop low voltage distribution system designs, write specifications, and perform supporting calculations
• Produce and update layouts and drawings for Nurse Call, Security/Access Control, Fire Alarm, Telecom, and Datacom systems
• Provide low voltage input to the A/E team for requirements and submittals
• Attend design review and construction meetings; conduct site visits and field QA/QC reviews
• Coordinate with the design team from project inception through completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• 5+ years of recent experience with low voltage systems design for medium to large-scale building construction projects
• RCDD or similar certification required
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
