Low Voltage Switchgear Lead
About the role
Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is seeking a Switchgear Lead to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Switchgear Supervisor, the Switchgear Lead will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of building facilities in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing feedback on performance of individuals through both formal and informal evaluations.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Communicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues.
- Cook people resource requirements for the department.
- Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- The primary contact for response to situations where scrap is occurring in any process step.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of a trade school program preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in preventative maintenance or related field.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills, and logical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift from task to task as needed.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.
