Low Voltage Foreman
About the role
As a Low Voltage Foreman at Power Design, you will ensure a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction with the installation of Low Voltage systems. This critical role is an integral part of the project team, assigned to a project throughout multiple phases of construction and through TCO.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project superintendent, project manager, and other trades to oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure all safety, quality, and code requirements are met.
- Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure projects are completed on time, adhere to blueprints and specifications, and exceed customer expectations.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope.
- Coordinate code requirements with local inspectors and manage systems programming and configuration through project completion.
Requirements
- Progressive electrical leader with a drive for results and a passion for using technology.
- At least three (3) years of experience managing related systems installations (5+ years preferred).
- BICSI RCDD Installer certification preferred.
- Access Control and CCTV Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Kantech, Software House, ExacQ) preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
