Low Boy Driver

About the role

Operates a lowboy truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport goods or materials. Responsibilities

• Operate the truck to move and/or transport materials as required by the jobsite
• Knowledge of operating procedures as they pertain to loading and unloading materials
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Complete paperwork and other documentation as needed
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of truck driving experience preferred
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
