Low bed CDL Driver

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL – Class A) with appropriate endorsements.
• Experience moving construction equipment is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with local and federal transportation regulations.
• Moves construction equipment, including safely loading, unloading and hauling the equipment to its destination throughout CT and New England.
• Understands overweight routing as most of our loads require overweight permits.
• Possesses an understanding of the operation of various pieces of equipment, sufficient to load/unload from the transport vehicle.
• Able to perform routing vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Able to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to perform work in daytime and nighttime conditions.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with ground crews and dispatch.
