Lovett School Specialty Camp Counselor 2026

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid in planning daily camp activities and managing carpool logistics
• Engage in and assist with camp activities and assigned tasks
• Enforce camp rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants
• Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Support other areas as needed
• Oversee camper behavior and participation during field trips
• Serve as a supervisor in the pool, possibly entering the water

Position Requirements

• Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Flexibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent employee service skills, including active listening and empathy
• Ability to adapt to various work schedules and hours during the day
• At least 15 years of age
• Attend the entire week

Physical Demands

• Sit, use hands to finger, and communicate verbally
• Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus required
