Love golf? Volunteer at White Lake Oaks Golf Course (ongoing through mid-November)

About the Role

Volunteers are needed at White Lake Oaks Golf Course in White Lake Township, MI from April 1 through mid-November. As a Golf Volunteer, you will assist paid staff with a variety of tasks while promoting the agency’s core values:

• Fiscal Responsibility and Organizational Excellence

Volunteers who work at least one shift receive one free round of golf in the same week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cart attendant duties, starter duties, outing setup, litter monitoring, and clean-up.
• Maintain equipment by washing and upkeep flower beds.
• Respond to emergencies, including weather and medical situations.
• Assist customers with questions and needs.
• Communicate effectively with the public and fellow employees.

Schedule

Availability for the entire season (April 1 through mid-November) is preferred. Shifts available:

• Saturdays: 3 pm – close (cart attendant)
• Sundays: 3 pm – close (cart attendant)
