Love Cakes by DLM Cake Decorator - Full and Part Time

About the role

This bustling department is responsible for producing the cakes sold in our Bakery department, as well as creating extravagant wedding cakes and eye-catching special occasion cakes.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and leveling wedding cakes
• Rolling fondant, base icing, bordering cakes
• Creating an array of flower designs and characters
• Beautiful handwriting skills
• Show creative work through designing cakes for custom orders and the annual Wedding Showcase
• Provide excellent guest experience both in person and during phone and wedding consultations
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience decorating
• Must have holiday and weekend availability
