Lot Porter/Attendant

About the role

The Service Porter position at Bergey’s Inc. is responsible for various duties related to vehicle maintenance and service. This includes assisting with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks, inspecting vehicles for damages, transporting customers and dealership personnel, and performing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Aid in service write-ups and vehicle tagging
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags before returning vehicles to customers
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages, and report any issues immediately
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
• Perform deliveries as required
• Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly
• Maintain building and grounds as needed
• Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage
• Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
