Duties/Responsibilities
- Stocking in new and used vehicles upon Delivery/Trade.
- Programming New and Used vehicles into the key machine.
- Clearing Customer parking.
- Arranging lot by model.
- Auditing the vehicle lot for any cars not completed for predelivery inspection or in need of Gasoline or Recharge.
- Picking up vehicles from other dealerships, on occasion picking up Customers.
- Checking in with the Management team for any assistance concerning inventory/lot.
- Placing Window Decals/Buyer’s Guides on used vehicles.
- Placing Tag Frames On new and Used vehicles.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: With a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: This job can be physically demanding, as it often involves walking, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting and moving vehicles or car accessories.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Occasionally, porters may encounter issues with vehicles or other tasks that require quick thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Keeping the vehicle lot organized and arranging vehicles by model or other criteria may require strong organizational skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is essential for maintaining the appearance of the vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and organized, and placing tags and decals accurately.
- Dependability: Reliability and punctuality are vital in this role to ensure that vehicles are ready for customers and the lot is well-maintained.
