LOT ATTENDANT - FLEET

About the role

The City of Nampa seeks a reliable and motivated individual as a Lot Attendant to join their Fleet Services Division. This position plays a crucial role in supporting overall workflows, ensuring the shop remains organized and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall shop cleanliness and perform various “housekeeping” duties.
• Pick up and deliver parts, transport city vehicles to and from various vendors and city facilities.
• Support workflow efforts of the Parts Coordinator, administrative assistant, technicians, and other city Fleet staff as required.
• Prepare vehicles for service, including parking and staging vehicles in an orderly manner.
• Run errands as needed, including picking up and delivering parts, supplies, and documents to vendors and customers.
• Aid in the loading and unloading of parts deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries when needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• A valid State of Idaho driver’s license.

• Fluent in English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to work as a member of a team to accomplish department goals.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Pay

$21.00-$23.00/hour

Schedule

10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
