About the role
The City of Nampa seeks a reliable and motivated individual as a Lot Attendant to join their Fleet Services Division. This position plays a crucial role in supporting overall workflows, ensuring the shop remains organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall shop cleanliness and perform various “housekeeping” duties.
- Pick up and deliver parts, transport city vehicles to and from various vendors and city facilities.
- Support workflow efforts of the Parts Coordinator, administrative assistant, technicians, and other city Fleet staff as required.
- Prepare vehicles for service, including parking and staging vehicles in an orderly manner.
- Run errands as needed, including picking up and delivering parts, supplies, and documents to vendors and customers.
- Aid in the loading and unloading of parts deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries when needed.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school graduate or equivalent (GED).
- A valid State of Idaho driver’s license.

- Fluent in English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to work as a member of a team to accomplish department goals.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Pay
$21.00-$23.00/hour
Schedule
10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
