About the role
The Parking Enforcement Attendant reports to the Account Manager and performs a variety of facility, garage, and lot support functions, including customer service, cashiering, flagging, cleaning, lot maintenance, operating revenue control equipment, filling out reports, issuing parking citations, and opening/closing booths.
The Lot Attendant is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue and parking reports while providing exceptional hospitality services. When stacking is necessary, the attendant properly parks and retrieves guest vehicles with a focus on customer service. The role also involves upholding site management’s parking policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, staff, and co-workers (15% of time).
- Acknowledges and greets guests immediately, using their last name when appropriate.
- Uses proper salutation, phone etiquette, and assists guests with directions and inquiries (15% of time).
- Provides information about the surrounding area and main attractions while protecting guest confidentiality (10% of time).
- Stacks vehicles using Towne Park standards, secures keys, and retrieves vehicles promptly and cautiously (20% of time).
- Collects and reconciles revenue accurately, furnishes receipts, categorizes tickets, completes shift reports, and follows bank procedures (20% of time).
- Operates equipment such as registers, gates, POS systems, and credit card machines.
- Obtains daily event information and rates, secures guest keys, maintains claim checks, and produces vehicle inventory for billing (20% of time).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English, including simple instructions and correspondence.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
Skills
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Register/computer experience preferred.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
Pay
Hourly base pay range: $17 - $19 per hour.
Schedule
Flexible availability; weekends required.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force, frequently up to 50 pounds, and constantly up to 20 pounds.
- Majority of work performed outdoors, subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold.
- Travel of up to 5% may be required.
