Lot Attendant

HireArt is helping our client find a Lot Attendant to join its designated market team. In this role, you’ll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands-on support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service and Vehicle Processing

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.

Operational Support

• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks.
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.

Standards And Communication

• Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
• Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
• Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; satisfactory driving record; and insurable under the company’s policy
• Familiarity with the local market area
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain patience, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to handle prolonged standing and walking

Pay

Expected compensation: $19.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time, 3-month contract position staffed via HireArt, expected to end on December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role is onsite and available to candidates local to the Milwaukee, WI area.
