Lot Associate

About the Role

Lot associates maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lot where marine vehicles and equipment are stored for their respective OneWater Marine store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the lot.
• Ensure all boats, trailers, and other equipment are stored properly.
• Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales, service, and customer needs.
• Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance issues and report any findings to management.
• Assist in preparing boats for deliveries.
• Support in the receiving and unloading of new inventory.
• Demonstrate attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.
• Partner with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.
• Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Ability to operate forklifts, boats, and other equipment, or willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the marine industry is a plus but not required.
