Loss Prevention Risk Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, compliance, and risk management consulting.
  • Provide consultation to support client safety and risk management programs.
  • Identify consulting opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Develop and refine consulting services and client deliverables.
  • Conduct site audits to identify hazards and compliance requirements.
  • Perform Workers’ Compensation assessments and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance on property and safety programs (e.g., PPE, ergonomics, machine guarding).
  • Develop customized safety, property conservation, and evacuation programs.
  • Manage client service plans, budgets, and stewardship reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables and client communications.
  • Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and client stakeholders.
  • Support carrier visits and provide advocacy for recommendations.
  • Aid in RFP responses, proposals, and prospect presentations.
  • Participate in new business development and consulting growth initiatives.
  • Write articles, blogs, and content to support marketing and thought leadership.
  • Continue professional development and maintain licensing requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to safety and compliance processes.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
  • Provide peer review for deliverables to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services aligned with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Maintain accuracy, compliance, and reliability across all client deliverables.
  • Build strong client and internal relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrate ownership, sound judgment, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education or equivalent experience in risk management, safety, or related field.
  • Experience in OSHA compliance, workers’ compensation, or safety consulting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements and priorities.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ARM, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience in property risk management and industrial safety environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting business development or client presentations preferred.
