Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and tranquility of guests and employees by observing and reporting on all assigned tasks.
• Use radio equipment and maintain accurate records of incidents and accidents.
• Patrol the hotel property, reporting and recording all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer-service related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a background check without serious criminal record and a safe driving record.
• Must attain a valid TIPS Alcohol Certification upon hire.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Able to verbally communicate clearly, professionally, and diplomatically.
• Able to handle tense and difficult situations calmly and gain compliance/cooperation without undue escalation.
• Hotel/Resort experience preferred.
• Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience strongly preferred.
• Able to be mobile throughout the Resort and work both inside and outside.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
