Loss Prevention Agent

About the role

The Loss Prevention Department for Hobby Lobby is seeking a full-time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent to help protect their stores. The ideal candidate must have previous undercover, floor walking Loss Prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters.
• Deter shoplifting by walking the sales floor.
• Complete incident reports.
• Review camera footage.
• Apprehend shoplifters.
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgment.
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year previous undercover, floor walking Loss Prevention experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Motor vehicle record check.
• Background check.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking.
