Loss Prevention Agent

About the role

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others. Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Responds to alarm company off-hours calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 2 years’ experience as a security officer or law enforcement officer.

• Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing for the purpose of obtaining and disseminating information.

• Sufficient computer knowledge to perform clerical tasks and prepare daily reports.
• Ability to apply first responder techniques in performing emergency first aid and CPR.

Schedule

• May be required to work irregular hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• May be required to walk or stand for extended periods of time.

Pay

$19.47 - $21.88 per hour. The salary range reflects the estimated minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in US - IN (US8 Midwest Distribution Center). Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
