Loss Prevention Agent $22.50-$24/hr*

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is committed to ethical behavior, including professionalism, honesty and restraint to join our Loss Prevention team. This is a full time position, weekend availability is required. For this position you could also be asked to work at the following locations: Davis - Mace, West Sacramento, Woodland, and Food 4 Less in Woodland.

Responsibilities

• Protecting the assets and financial integrity of the store by conducting surveillance
• Writing reports
• Apprehending and detaining violators of store policies and the law
• Demonstrating sufficient self-defense skills and positive officer safety skills
• Apprehending and arresting shoplifters and potentially violent or combative subjects while remaining professional

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of circumstances
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Committed to ethical behavior
• A positive attitude is essential
