Loss Control Surveyor

Your Role

ReSource Pro is looking for experienced Loss Control Surveyors to join their team of auditors and surveyors. This is a 1099/contract position.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with policyholders.
• Visit the insured's location.
• Conduct onsite interviews to verify operations.
• Survey and inspect the location.
• Identify hazards.
• Take digital photos.
• Make improvement recommendations.
• Measure and calculate square footage.
• Deliver a thorough online report after the visit.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Computer: preferably laptop, with high-speed internet access (Microsoft Windows operating system, or Mac with a Windows virtual machine installed).
• Measurement device.
• Digital camera or cell phone capable of taking pictures.
• State Issued Worker's Compensation (preferred).
• Certificate of General Liability Insurance (preferred).
• LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization (preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to superior service.
• Strong sense of self-motivation and self-discipline.
• Superior organizational, time management, and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interacts tactfully and effectively in difficult situations.
• Able to represent ReSource Pro in a positive and professional manner when on job sites.
• Able to adjust to new situations and changing priorities.
• Develops a high degree of trust through demonstrated personal integrity and ethical behavior.

Pay

Compensation will be based on the mutually agreed rate between the contractor and the company, taking into consideration the scope of work, experience, and industry standards. Please provide your desired hourly or project-based rate when applying. As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and any other employment-related expenses. Our budgeted range for this contract is $40.00 per billable hour.

Schedule

This position is based in Tooele, UT with the occasional visits to remote areas.
