Loss Control Consultant - Part-time

About the role

HETI is seeking experienced consultants with at least 10 years of health & safety expertise, including general liability insurance in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, environmental, and fleet management risks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field risk assessments and industrial hygiene services
• Provide expert consultation on health and safety issues related to various industries
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement risk management strategies
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in health & safety
• Experience in general liability insurance involving construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, environmental, and fleet management risks
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CHST, or other relevant credentials
• Experience working with subcontract consultants

Skills

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

• Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
