Loss Control Consultant - Austin

About the role

HETI is seeking consultants with at least 10 years of experience in health & safety, specifically in general liability insurance involving construction risks, manufacturing risks, oil & gas risks, environmental and fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field risk assessments and industrial hygiene services
• Provide expert consultation on insurance claims related to construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, environmental, and fleet management
• Collaborate with HETI’s network of highly qualified subcontract consultants
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in health and safety

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in health & safety
• Experience in general liability insurance involving construction risks, manufacturing risks, oil & gas risks, environmental, and fleet management
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and best practices in health and safety
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as OSHA 10/30 Hour, CHST, or similar
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing health and safety

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
