Longo Lexus Courtesy Vehicle Representative

About the role

The Courtesy Vehicle Representative is responsible for ensuring all loan vehicles are properly and thoroughly cleaned, gassed, and assisting Loan Car Representatives with vehicle hand-offs to guests. The ideal candidate should be energetic, a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and prompt service to guests in handling loan/rental cars.
• Completes loan/rental contracts thoroughly and accurately.
• Walks guests through the vehicle, explaining operation and accessories.
• Works with rental companies to obtain additional vehicles as needed.
• Assists with inventory management of loan/rental vehicles.
• Answers guests' questions and handles complaints with integrity and poise.
• Transfers and provides information to incoming service calls.
• Performs administrative duties and assists in other areas of the Service Department as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six (6) months of customer service experience, desired.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to adjust and move in different positions to accomplish tasks.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Must be able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

Pay

The Courtesy Vehicle Representative has a Pay Scale with a base hourly rate of $18.00. This position is 100% on-site at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.
