About the Role

Greer Elementary is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This is a part-time position at 4.35 hours per day, with an estimated start date of August 25.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reading intervention instruction to elementary students
  • Engage students in authentic, challenging, and relevant learning experiences
  • Build relationships with families and communities to support student success
  • Implement culturally responsive teaching practices in support of equity goals

Qualifications

  • Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement in Special Education

Pay

$38.48 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, 4.35 hours per day
