Long-Term Substitute Educational Assistant

About the role

Full-time, long-term substitute educational assistant at Foley Elementary School, a preK‑3 primary school with 600 students and approximately 90 faculty and staff, located at 743 Penn St., Foley, MN. The position runs from November 11, 2026 through December 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of a special education teacher and/or the school principal.
• Supervise and work with students with physical, intellectual, and/or behavioral disabilities.

Qualifications

• A.A. degree or at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (minimum 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro or ParaEducator assessment.
• Passing score on a PCA certification online assessment.
• Experience or interest in working with children in a classroom or educational setting.
• Experience or interest in working with children with disabilities is preferred.

Schedule

7‑hour day (6.5 paid hours per day or 32.5 paid hours per 5‑day school week).

Pay

Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications: $20.37 per hour – $22.03 per hour.
