About the role

The SPHS is seeking a long-term substitute for social studies. The ideal candidate will provide engaging and rigorous instruction fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and an appreciation for history and equity. The teacher will create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can grow academically and personally. The position is expected to end on October 1, 2026.

Requirements

• Valid California teaching credential
• Experience teaching social studies at the high school level
