Sales Manager Now is seeking an experienced B2B sales leader who wants a long-term professional home, not a short-term contract or side role. This position is designed for sales managers who value continuity, accountability, and multi-year client impact, and who want to apply their experience across multiple small businesses without returning to corporate life. Success in this role requires commitment to our proven system, investment in long-term client relationships, and a desire to grow alongside a stable, established sales management firm. In 2006, I founded Sales Manager Now, a unique sales management company that has redefined how small businesses access experienced sales leadership. We support small business sales growth through virtual, shared sales management and leadership. We are currently a team of six fractional sales managers and are looking to add one additional long-term team member. Sales Manager Now has operated virtually since its inception, using web conferences, email, and phone calls. This role is home-based, with minimal travel (typically no more than two weeks per year). There is no commute, scheduling flexibility is built in, and compensation can reach full-time levels at part-time hours based on client load. This is a W-2 employee position. This role is ideal for experienced sales leaders who are ready to step away from the corporate environment but still find deep satisfaction in exceeding objectives and helping salespeople and sales teams perform at their best. A Long-Term Role by DesignBecause of the investment required to succeed in this role — including training, system mastery, and long-term client relationships — we are seeking someone who views this as a long-term position, not a temporary or supplemental role. Our clients retain for an average of 18 months, and success depends on continuity, trust, and consistent leadership. Fractional training, coaching, and ongoing support are provided directly by Rene Zamora, the founder and a peer mentor. Our methodology is fully documented in our book, Part-Time Sales Management… For Small Business Sales Teams. This position is intended to be your primary professional focus. While we respect entrepreneurs, this role is not a fit for individuals looking to supplement their own business, consulting practice, or side venture. The RoleYou will manage 3–7 sales teams from your home via web conference. Each team represents a different small business, typically with $2–$20 million in revenue and 2–8 salespeople. Our clients span multiple industries; we do not operate within a single niche. You are not expected to be a product expert — product knowledge is provided by the client or their vendors. We often co-manage alongside the business owner. You are accountable for the sales department's performance and development. You do not sell.
