About the role

Responsible for providing compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting. Duties include assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Administer medications as per schedule and under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident rooms and common areas
• Participate in shift handovers and report any concerns to supervisors
• Follow infection control protocols and assist with laundry and meal service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Long-Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
